Today, our photographer, Matjaž Kacicnik, concluded his photographing the entire south wall. The photos are truly spectacular, he was really able to capture the very soul of the tomb.

Also, we started studying the funerary cones that were found out of context, on a pillar in the transversal hall of tomb TT 109. These cone-shaped clay artifacts are particularly important because they bear hieroglyphic inscriptions with the name and titles of the deceased. Therefore they can give a fundamental contribution to our documenting of all the titles of Min.

Today was a hectic day for the Necropolis. The Minister of Antiquities, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, visited the various projects in the area conducted by the ARCE (American Research Center in Egypt). New tombs will soon be opened to visitors!
